Life takes us through different remarkable journeys. Through it all we can triumph.

Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to meeting you.

I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist with 8 years of experience in the field of social work. I have experience working in community mental health agencies, Ontario public health, private practice, elementary schools, high schools, as well as higher education where I worked as a field instructor for bachelor and master level students at various universities. I am passionate about helping people gain clarity in life to achieve their goals. I provide my clients with tools to grow personally, develop stronger connections, and to find a deep sense of meaning in life.

I also support people who are navigating cross-cultural challenges and may struggle with self-identity, self-worth, change, and family dynamics. I provide support to examine cultural identity and how it impacts one's day-to-day life.

I am originally from Nigeria, and as an immigrant myself I understand what it is like to reconcile different cultural identities to benefit one's sense of self. I do recognize that it takes courage to reach out for mental health support, because of this I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where people can feel safe, be vulnerable and be supported.

I like to conduct individual and couples’ sessions in a calm, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment. As I believe my clients are the experts of their own life and I use my knowledge, skills, and experience to partner with them as they navigate their needs and desires to overcome challenges.

I approach sessions using cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic lens, motivational interviewing, anti-oppressive lens, as well as strength-based, solution-focused, and trauma-focused therapies. I look forward to meeting with you to see how we can work together to support your healing, nourish your relationships, and achieve your goals.
