Life takes us through different remarkable journeys. Through it all we can triumph.

Thanks for taking the time to know more about me.

My name is Kunle and I am here to support your mental health needs. I am passionate about the helping profession. A little background is that I used to work as an accountant for over seven years. before I made a transition into mental health. I have been in this field now since 2015 and I am passionate about helping you gain clarity in your life. I’ll be glad to work alongside you to gain tools to grow personally, develop stronger connections, and find a deep sense of meaning in your life.

I support people who are navigating cross-cultural challenges and may struggle with self-identity, self-worth, and family dynamics. I provide support in helping people examine their cultural identity and how it impacts their day-to-day life. I am Canadian who immigrated from Nigeria, and I understand what it is like to reconcile different cultural identities.

I bring my training, experience and open mind to learn as we work together in navigating your journey. I do recognize that it takes courage to reach out for mental health support, especially for immigrant and diverse racial groups. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be vulnerable.

I conduct sessions in a calm, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I will support you to navigate your needs and desires. I implement cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic lens, motivational interviewing, an anti-oppressive lens, as well as strength-based, solution-focused, trauma-focused therapies, and more in sessions.

I am a native of the Yoruba nation and can provide services to clients in Yoruba Language if needed. I look forward to hearing from you, and getting to navigate your beautiful story.
